Government of India is negotiation with government of Mauritius regarding signing a comprehensive Economic Cooperation and partnership agreement (CECPA). Which will mutually benefit both the countries. India and South African customs union in short is SACU have decided for early resumption of negotiations for a preferential trading agreement. This union consist of countries like Botswana listen to Namibia South Africa an Swaziland. Huge Boyle said aim of India to support Africa with lines of credit in priority sectors such as agriculture, education, health, digital technology, power plants, transmission lines and rail infrastructure. Till June 2020 India has committed for 12.7 billion dollars for 40 countries in Africa on favorable terms to them. Bilateral trade has grown to 67 billion dollar. India is fifth largest investor in African content sectors like oil, gas, mining, banking, textile in the wake of African continental free trade agreement there could be a huge possibility for India in value chains like textile, pharma, auto, agro processing and information and communication technology.
